Toyota Boshoku have shared exclusive insight into their Ansible Motion Delta series dynamic DIL simulator, which was installed in Japan earlier this year in cooperation with Toyota Technical Development Corporation and our partner Marubun Corporation.

The video demonstrates the ways in which Toyota Boshoku will be using their simulator to develop the next generation of vehicle interior systems including technologies for autonomous vehicles.

Translation of subtitles:

We look ahead to next-generation interior systems such as autonomous driving, incorporating a loop of cognition, judgment, and operation based on the five senses into the closed loop of the vehicle. We have built a comprehensive evaluation environment centred on people, with a high degree of immersion.

A 360 ° field of view is secured with the front screen and digital mirrors. The boarding / alighting height can be changed according to the actual vehicle.

Achieve a natural ride into the cockpit and range of motion suitable for interior evaluation.

Reproduce the two-lane lane change, in addition to evaluations that are difficult to reproduce due to various traffic environments and sudden weather changes, evaluated with risks such as drowsiness and sickness due to long-time driving.

Sensing various data in real time, analyse the results and feed them back to the product.
